Hold Steady

Hello fellas. How are you? It’s almost a year since we were hit by storm of Covid. I used to think that Covid will be end in 2020. I was one of people who really hope it for sure. But as we know, Covid still around us until now.  You may not be where you were planning about your job, family or finances. So do I. Sometimes I’m feeling this situation blow me. We have been blown by a situation that we couldn’t control and we lost hope. It’s hard to stay faithful when we are in the middle of a storm.

This situation leads me to more realize that we can’t control our lives. Only God can do that. This morning I was read God’s word from Isaiah 41: 10, “Fear not, for I am with you, be not dismayed, for I am your God, I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand”. This verse is so powerful. GOD IS IN CONTROL.

Life is hard when I try to do it alone. I need God. Sometimes I hold God’s hand but not so steady. I say I believe God but still my heart doubted Him. So I think this is my mistake. I didn’t let God to help me. I fought my battle alone. I forgot that God is still in control.

The only way to stay steady in God is to have relationship with God. Sometimes when I was facing a hard time, I tempted to stop trusting God. Even I know the Bible so clear declare that God will provide. Why? Because I didn’t have a strong relationship with God. 

The point is when we have a relationship with God, we will have the security we need. We don’t need to know where the Covid will be end. We don’t need to know what the future holds. We just need to know Who Holds the future.
